Seeya later NZ Music Month & Kia ora Matariki!
Kia ora tātau,
Welcome to new friends! This is our first newsletter for a while and there’s been so much going on.
Toni launches a new website www.tonihuata.com on Tuesday June 5th at 12pm and has have been back in the studio recording new waiata and remixing favourite tracks with producer Paddy Free and friends.
The new 15 track album is called TE RERENGA - THE JOURNEY! Look out for teasers of every track when the new website goes live!
We’ve also teamed up again with award winning Penn Productions now known as Motion Valley to bring you 5 new music videos. Our plan is to bring you new waiata and music videos every month for the next 5 months with a special preview of the stunning video WAIORA and TAHURI MAI in the Wairoa Film festival 2018 this weekend!
WAIORA features Toni and actress Oribe Maipi and has a special filmic quality with a story based on rejuvenation of the water.
Toni’s Iwi radio hit, TAHURI MAI features two amazing actors John Ulu Va'a and Mariarangi Carkeek – keep an eye out for them in the future we reckon they are going to be stars. The waiata is about young love and we hope you enjoy.
Whānau, here are some upcoming performance dates, put them in the diary or write them on your calendar!
